THINK SPRING QUILT

Pieced and quilted through an endless winter. You can read in depth about this quilt’s creation and significance here.

The strips on the top are pieced from linen, cotton and a few miscellaneous scraps, mostly reclaimed from garments and home textiles. All of that fabric was sourced from my scrap bags before leaving Chicago, so they serve as a sort of textile archive from the end of my time there. The main green is reclaimed cotton. The back is pieced in cotton and cotton blends. This quilt is hand quilted in a variety of cotton and linen threads and the batting is organic cotton. The binding is cotton, hand stitched it down.
