Reversible Vest
When I found this vest at the thrift store I made a small note that it was reversible and then I put it on one way and never gave the other side a thought. The sun patch followed soon after and for the better part of two years it has been a beige and sunshiny vest.
Last week I put it on inside-out and realized that it was indeed still reversible and that the blue side needed a patch to compliment the sun. I’m still in the early days of sewing curves, but as my buddy Aisling says “every day’s a school day!” so I took on the challenge of a little crescent moon and uh, well, I learned more about sewing curves ;)
Now that it’s finished I’ve been scheming up a quilted object with puffy vests as batting.
